ABOUT URBAN FASHION EXPO
    URBAN FASHION EXPO aka UFX. UFX is an urban fashion promotional company and founder of Urban Fashion Week Europe, working in Conjunction with Urban Fashion Week USA.
A WAY FORWARD
    With the lack of financial inspiration in the European urban fashion scene, the progress of urban designers are extremely limited and most designers face many trails and tribulations in order to match the success and exposure of that of high fashion designers. Even more so, mainstream designers and labels are limited with international presence. UFX will be linking Europe's best urban designers with today's top fashion buyers as well as world wide press coverage and clients. UFX can ensure collections displayed by designers or labels are or will be trendsetters through out seasons in both inner cities and surburban towns.

    In America, an article stated “Urban shoppers are "trend setting, influential and online," according to Teenage Research Unlimited. There are 31 million teen buyers in America, and they now spend a total of $141 billion dollars a year. Retailers can't afford to ignore teens, regardless of how fickle their buying habits, or how hard they are to reach with marketing campaigns. According to a market research report, the urban market is one of the fastest growing sectors in retail. "The urban market is neither ethnic or geographic, it is a mindset," explained Guy Primus, executive director and senior analyst of UrbanIQ. "It is a consumer group with more than $890 billion in spending and the power to influence mainstream culture, both here and abroad."     Not only would URBAN FASHION EXPO act as a tool to place the right consumers in the hands of designers that respect the culture and fashion, but will also inspires a generation of young designers to see a future in their interests and talents and expand their options in their future of fashion designing via shows, events, news and networks. UFX also supports and expands urban music culture and fashion shops, that ensure urban fashion is at the forefront of the fashion scene. Our aim is to switch the meaning of the word urban in European fashion, as many have done in America, showing us wiith the success of many designers and brands like Baby Phat, B.E.T., Sean John and UKs very own MOBOs.
